What high school summer intern wrote this? "It's" in the first paragraph? Is the editorial staff on a staff retreat?

I sincerely hope Subaru remains focused on their core strength: nicely equipped, modestly priced all wheel drive vehicles that cater to folks who drive in the snow & rain. If they lose the backing of that core group, they'll be just a tiny car company struggling to swim with the big fish.
