I just read the last 8 entrys and i think these brain dead morons should have there library cards revoked. They are obviously to stupid to have a job so they have to use the library ones. Yes there are to many rules and the cars do look alike but do you remember the days when 2 cars beat the entire filed by 8 laps due to unmatched cars. Richard Petty couldnt win a race when they where alike and could only win when they where not alike and STP paid more than the locale garage could. NASCAR does have to get there act together and get back to what made it fun to watch and stop tryin to make it so PC. Since these morons are at the library maybe they should pick up a book it got me thru college.

GM, what the hell?!?!? Impala SS??? You’re going to continue to run a family car with misleading badges when you have a nice new Camaro that has so much potential even on the streets(however, the weight makes me happy I kept my 2000 SS)…

My only thought is you better be waiting on the release of a ‘Z28′…

“Nascar” is a dying animal. Overchoked with rules, the vehicles do not even resemble “stock cars” as they used too, they are slower every year, and the dumbing-down to “level the playing field”, makes a “race” as exciting to watch as grass growing. What do you expect. Obviously even the mouth-breathers have finally figured it out.

Give me an F-1 race or an off-road truck race any day.

I agree that its a good move for nascar, But I also think that still not gonna help the series. Personally I dont like NASCAR and I think people are tired of watching it,Dont get me wrong I think the drivers are talented but how long can you watch 43 cars go a round in circles for. and the mustang and the challenger are pony cars made originally for Trans am racing. And I also think Nissan should get in there with the 370z,just a thought hey if toyota can do it why not Nissan

I guess that answers the big question: Dodge WILL keep the Challenger in the lineup, at least as long as they’re racing Challengers in NASCAR.

I think that it is a great idea. Now a person can go to the dealer and purchase a Car that looks like the ones that he or she has been watching at the races! This is where it all started and I for one am glad it’s going to be the thing again!!

Why would GM not get on this banwage to draw customers back to a GM product? I think its a great move for Ford & Dodge and get back to a sports car theme to stock car racing!!

The only reason NASCAR went with the”body of the future” was to appeaze the foreign auto manufacturers. That being said, most, if not all, fans are pro-american auto lovers. Their (NASCAR) attempt to woo the camary owners into thinking “wow, my camary is a race car” and increase revenues fell flat on its ass. The winning formula has always been the classic rivalry between GM, Ford, and Mopar. Tell the Gen X marketing analysts to shut up, get a beer, and go cheer for a Challenger or mustang,cuz all that liberal horse manure they teach in you in college don’t was with real america.

Its about time yes I hated all the cars looking the same let the teams use true body lines then you will see a more true race if it dont cut it they will lose.They should let dodge use the hemi engine it comes stock in the car and a person can walk into the parts counter and buy a complete engine. Thats what stock car racing should be about. Race on sunday sell on monday.Nascar should not be crying that the hemi is unfair its just well built and proven. Please get back to the ROOTS!!!
