I bought a 1991 CRX new. It was tagged 48 city 52 highway mpg. For the first 200k miles, I logged a consistent 57 mpg (and I have the tickets to prove that I wasn't driving easy). At close to 400K miles, this car is still getting better milage than this sorry excuse for a follow up. I would buy a NEW 1991 CRX TODAY. This just makes me angry...

Wow - it looks great in the red, nice to see something other then the white that we have become so used to for the last few years.

I am disappointed in the MPG numbers however, how can they be so low for such a car?? I thought they would be much higher - like in the 40-50 range. A recent poll over at http://www.crzforum.com put most peoples wanted MPG at 45+ MPG also.

Honda should have a real winner on their hands assuming it drives as good as it looks!
