I just purchased a CTS-V. I have a home in San Diego and one in Las Vegas. I have questions.

1. I realize GM warranty goes when ECU changed but understand a "second" connection can be installed to "fool" the system. True or False? If true, cost and difficulty for someone to install.

2. Is is "safer" (regards the drive line) to buy the "parts" costing under $600 (excluding labor) or the "package" costing about $2100? What is rwhp gain with eacH?

3, Who do you recommend that is closest to either San Diego or Las Vegas to represent you and do quality work? Is this difficult, if I know someone who has a shop and does other "aftermarket" changes, i.e. superchargers, cams, etc.?

Thank you.
