The replacement for the Murciélago, the flagship of the Lamborghini brand, will be unveiled at the Paris Auto Show this fall. According to a report by TopSpeed, they have confirmation from their sources that the car, known internally as the “New V12,” will be unveiled in Paris with some ultra-impressive hardware and statistics.
The Murcie replacement will reportedly get a full carbon fiber chassis (much like the Lexus LFA or McLaren MP4-12C) and use a 7.0-liter V12 engine to make no less than 700-hp. Using a single-clutch paddle shift transmission, the new supercar will be able to hit 60-mph in as little as 3 seconds and blast on to a top speed of 225-mph. That carbon chassis will also help keep weight to around the 3,300 lb mark.
The design of the car will take style elements from the Revnton, while inside it is expected to get a fighter-jet style heads-up display.
If these reports are true, the new Murcie looks to take Lambo to new heights.
