New York 2010: Chevrolet Camaro Wins 2010 World Car Design Award

The Chevrolet Camaro won the World Car Design of the Year award at the New York Auto Show, beating the other two finalists, the Kia Soul and the Citroen C3 Picasso.

The finalists were chosen by an international panel of five design experts and a jury of 59 automotive journalists selected the Camaro above the others.

The award ceremony avoided a potentially embarrassing situation which would have occurred had the Citroen C3 Picasso won. Unlike the other finalists in any of the four awards handed out, the Citroen was not present at the Javits Center. Apparently, it was being held up in customs.

Obviously AutoGuide and/ or the writer has something against the Chevy Camaro given how poorly shot his photo of it was. Even a 9th-grader could have taken a better picture of the car with a $59 kids digital camera. Re-affirming my belief that most “photographers” are just a bunch of useless idiots with no real skills in life and a chip on their shoulder.
