Nothing is more tragic than a horrible car accident, especially when it involves an expensive exotic and a young lady. News broke earlier today that a Lamborghini Gallardo, a demo car from Lamborghini of Germany, had crashed, causing the death of both the driver and the passenger.

There isn’t a ton of information on the accident, but witnesses claim the driver had given the Gallardo a tad too much throttle causing it to skid against a divider. What happened after that is something we all hope we’ll never have to witness; the car flew through the air, hit a lamppost and burst into flames. The driver is believed to be an actual employee of Lamborghini that was taking the 28 year old female on a demo ride.

Unfortunately we’ll never get to hear the other side of the story, but hopefully this serves as an unpleasant reminder that no matter how nice of a car or how powerful it is, not controlling it behind the wheel is always dangerous. There’s no need to show off or drive outside your limits, even if it’s in a rare exotic.
