China is set to overtake Germany as Porsche’s #2 market, as the company’s Chinese division gears up to sell 16,000 units by 2012.
Porsche moved 8,629 units last year, with 83% of them being the Cayenne SUV. The launch of an all new Cayenne is expected to boost sales ever further, but Porsche still expects the United States to remain their #1 market.
Porsche will also be expanding their dealer network, and hopes to have 30 stores in place by 2012.
