Purchased a 2001 Honda Acura in 2008 and it had a Carfax report with it. I found out in July 2010 that there was a recall on the transmission after it failed and the motor mounts had been replaced. Had I been told about the recall when I purchased the car I could have had it fixed under the parameters of the recall. Does Carfax normally report on recalls? Honda would not help me with the repairs even though the recall was still open because it has 110,000 miles on it. Please advise who I might call to get some help with reimbursement for the recall failure on my vehicle. Thank you1
