Truth be told, those Japanese builders make some crazy, crazy creations. And with the rising trend of Japanese-influenced European-tuned vehicles, we guess it was just a matter of time before something like this popped up. Taking center stage for today is a previous generation Lexus SC300 (Soarer in Japan) that has been overhauled from bumper to bumper with Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG styling.
Quite honestly, if we didn’t have the stock body SL55 to compare this to, the overall creation wouldn’t look so strange. We could probably do without the excessive vents on the hood and a bit cleaner of a widebody conversion, but you have to admit, the car is pretty interesting to look at. Some may not like it, but we’ve definitely seen worse.
We actually find the rear end conversion to be pretty well done, flowing with the SC300’s natural long body. Overall though, with some slight changes to make the aesthetics less extreme and a different set of wheels, the end result could be pretty stunning.
