Subaru Impreza STI

The other star of the Subaru booth is decidedly less ostentatious than Travis Pastrana’s hillclimb special, but has an equally impressive motorsports pedigree.

This STi was driven by legendary rally driver Tommi Makinen, who set a production sedan record of 7:55 around Germany’s famed Nurburgring course. While not everyone agrees that Nurburgring times matter all that much, it’s nice to see a bit of Subaru history brought to SEMA.
