Nissan Launches Zero-Emission Educational Site For Kids

Kids can now learn about the benefits of electric cars on a website that’s built just for them. “An Electric Vehicle in our Home” is Nissan‘s web program for kids, and is full of fun and educational information about zero-emission, electric vehicles.

Designed to educate elementary school children about the reality of global warming and the merits of 100 percent, zero-emission, electric vehicles (EVs), “An Electric Vehicle in our Home” offers unique, kid-accessible characters and easy-to-follow dialogue about EVs and a zero-emission society. Featuring colorful photos, graphics and videos, the site gives kids and their parents a comprehensive look at EV technology and Nissan’s vision of a zero-emission sustainable society.

The site also features product information about the Nissan Leaf EV (which launches in the U.S. and Japan this month, followed by Europe in 2011) and Nissan’s vision and approach to a zero-emission, sustainable society.
