As a brand, Porsche has plenty of growth opportunities and it appears as though the man at the helm of the German sports car maker intends to take advantage of them.
In a recent interview with Automotive News, Porsche CEO Matthias Muller indicated that with a sub-Boxster model and baby Cayenne (Cajun) being considered, Porsche is now looking at expanding its range with models based on current products.
First up could be a Targa version based on the Cayman model, with roof panels that either open or can be removed.
But that’s not all, with the Panamera’s platform being considered as a donor chassis for a new front-engine coupe model.
In the mean time, Porsche continues to exploit the popularity of the 911 range, today introducing a new 911 Black Edition.
