It’s hard to make a successful sequel, and in the styling department Pagani’s new Huayra is hardly a worthy successor to the Zonda. Overlooking the car’s catfish mouth is becoming easier with every time we see the car; our objections diminishing significantly when we first saw it in person at the Geneva Auto Show. Now we’re really starting to fall in love with the car thanks to some extra-sexy high-production quality video released by the Italian supercar manufacturer.
When it comes to performance, however, the car is not lacking, powered by a 6.0-liter V12 from AMG, the twin-turbo engine makes 700-hp and uses a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The entire chassis is made of carbon-titanium and coated in bodywork made mostly of carbon fiber. Weighing just under 3,000 lbs (2,976 lbs to be exact), the Huayra can hit a top speed of 230-mph.
