A gas station in the Wilmington neighborhood of Los Angeles, was the center of attention today, after a glitch set prices of fuel to $1.10 a gallon. Almost immediately, vehicles lined up around the block to pump cheap gas.
Police arrived on the scene shortly, to direct traffic around the overcrowded station. The problem took hours to fix and when the pumps were finally shut down, over 8,000 gallons of fuel had been dispensed, costing the station owner, Kenny Nguyen $21,000. Nguyen hopes motorists who got lucky will come back and pay full price.
