The car is motivated by the same high-revving 4.4-liter V8 as the M5, but will offer a sleeker alternative to sedan-oriented customers who want legendary M performance.
In the photos, we see the car’s deep front spoiler and wider fenders that lend a more agressive look than previous models. Quad exhaust pipes round off the changes at the rear, sure to deliver the throaty chortling exhaust note you’ve come to expect.
As usual, there’s serious substance behind that music: You can expect at least 560 horsepower though rumors are circulating that the M6 Gran Coupe may actually get an extra 20-hp boost which will make it to the wheels via BMW’s DCT transmission.
