With a mid-cycle update being rolled out to dealers now, Mercedes is already deep in development of its next-generation C-Class.
As shown in these latest spy photos, the car is still heavily camouflaged, although the sloping rear roofline is visible. Dramatic changes aren’t expected as the current model’s look has made the C-Class a hit once again and Mercedes doesn’t want to risk scaring off customers. Still, expect the car to adapt a front grille design inspired by the F800 Concept.
In addition to gas and diesel versions, the 2014 C-Class (code named RB205) is expected to be the first small Benz to get a hybrid powertrain.
Arriving in 2014, look for a wagon model to launch six months later, followed a year later by a new coupe version and possibly even a convertible.
