2014 Chevy Impala Video, First Look: 2012 NY Auto Show

A forgettable sedan if there ever was one, over the past several years the Impala owes its success to fleet sales, not consumers.

Chevrolet is now looking to change that with a completely restyled version of its full-size front-drive sedan, adding plenty of luxury, technology and style. Unveiled at the New York International Auto Show, to find out more about the 2014 Chevy Impala watch out first look video below.

Chevy did a really good job with designing the 2014 Impala, can’t wait to see what the SS model will look like.

I’m getting on as soon as leasing options open up for it. I have a 2000 Impala 230k on it and the only thing I had to put in was the headgaskets. Love Impalas with a passion.

Its ok but FWD ruins it as well as no 2 door or convertible. ENOUGH FWD sedans ,they suck.

  • Folks, get over the FWD bias. Like it or not, RWD is a thing of the past. I think the 2014 Impala will be a strong contender against the Camry and Taurus.

I like FWD but stop calling it a big, full size car.  They don’t exist anymore.  A mid size from the 60’s is probably bigger. The car looks ok, but I’d take a 1968 impala over this any day.

cant wait i am holding out for this auto…

come on late January- early feb..

I may have to turn in my ’04 (Indy Limited Edition) Supercharged SS, but not for this new Impala. I’ll wait for the new Chevy SS, with a 6.2 liter, RWD V/8. It will be offered sometime in July.

  • Rudy Venegas

As far as I know, the new Impala will not offer an SS model. The new 2014 SS will be a smaller version from the past and will come with RWD, and powered by a 6.2 liter V/8 producing over 300 hp. It is already being used in NASCAR Sprint Cup this season. The badging will simply just be Chevrolet SS
