7. Audi Q7 Premium Plus: $110.09

The Audi Q7 Premium Plus suffers from the same fate as the other German vehicles on this list. Big gas tank, premium-only. It’s a bit more fuel friendly than the GL450 at 18 mpg combined, but all that means is that you’ll be filling the truck up a little less often. The Audi Q7 Premium Plus has a driving range of about 607 miles putting it right between the driving ranges of the GL450 and the Cayenne V6.

My 2011 Mitsubishi Triton extra cab cost $110.72
it is rated at 22 MPG and has a 79 Lt. tank (31 gallom)
Here in Thailand fuel is now $5.30 a gallon and going up 3cents tomorrow
Cost to fill is nearly 1/3 of the average workers take home pay
Luckly it also uses NGV (Natural gas) that cost only 1/4 the cost of Gas and gets 15% better MPG on NGV

I am so glad I don’t have these cars today.. $1.40 a litre up here!

This is a very stupid comparison….By your estimations, *ANY* vehicle with a large gas tank would cost more to fill up! If I put a 50 gallon barrel in the back of a Prius, then *IT* would cost more than any of these cars to fill up! Just because a car costs less to fill up doesn’t make it any worse of a vehicle to run! Heck, most cross country semi’s have gas tanks in the hundreds of gallons…so they are *VERY* expensive to fill up…but people need this to move their product…so again…stupid comparison!

Why not include a tanker trailer… This list is a ‘What has the biggest tank’
Why not the MPG king instead.

Well I am driving a Mitsubishi Triton 2.5 litre (diesel) VGT engine. Driving around urban areas gives me around 11.5 litres per 100-km whereas on highways/cruising it gives me around 9 to 9.5 litres per 100-km. Which I think it’s pretty good considering the size and weight of the vehicle.
