Drinking and driving kills many people a year, and the marketers at Fiat are reaching out to people with this simple yet effective commercial.
The spot is for the Brazilian market, and shows only a can. At first we can see a cyclist’s reflection in the can, and the caption beside reads, “now you see.” When a hand opens up the beer can, suddenly the cyclist disappears, and the caption reads, “now you don’t.”
The ad is elegant in its simplicity, and gets the message out that drinking and driving kills.
