It’s just a cultural thing; Koreans get easily sold on the “safety” sales talk and it gets added on like any other option. In a few years, US car dealers are likely going to use those same sales pitches to boost their sales income.

That looks to be a VIP delivery/cab service in South Korea with a tracking device installed which includes a cam. I could also hear the car was on the brakes from how the RPM sounded. They were on the brakes hard a few times before coming to their stop. I’d recommend trying to floor your car for 1sec then apply the brakes hard and tell me how fast you can stop.
