5. Hyundai Genesis Coupe V6: 348-hp $28,750
For 2013 Hyundai really bumped up the power of its Genesis Coupe. Although the 2.0T now makes 274 horsepower, it’s the bigger 3.8 V6 Genesis Coupe that gets the mention on this list. Thanks to direct injection technology, the new V6 Coupe gets 348-horsepower, which is more power than Hyundai’s Japanese competitors. In our review we noted that thanks to the high-performance credentials of the 2013 Genesis Coupe, it commands a new-found respect. Maybe all that respect gives the Genesis Coupe a little swagger, which helps power it’s 5-second strut to 60 mph. Luckily the Genesis Coupe is adept at more than just straight-line speed, thanks to its three-stage stability control, and tighter steering.
