As World Ducati Week (WDW) 2012 approaches, the Italian bike brand is announcing Audi as its official automotive parter with Lamborghini planning an appearance with two flagships as well.

During the event, Audi will support WDW staff with a range of cars as well as a display including the S6, S8 and the R8 LMS. Famous motorsport personalities will also be on hand around the cars to answer questions. Neighbor to Ducati in Italy’s “Motor Valley” and subsidiary to Audi’s parent company, Volkswagen, Lamborghini will also have a Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale and Aventador LP 700-4 at the event on display.

What will probably get fans more excited than the premium Audis or exotic Lamborghini supercars is the chance to take a ride around the Misano Circuit in either an R8 V10 or the R8 LMS seen above. In either case, the car will be piloted by one of Audi’s race car drivers, which promises to be a thrilling experience.

Anyone hoping for a chance to take one of those rides will need to buy a raffle ticket, which can also win them an Audi driving experience voucher. It isn’t clear how many thrill rides are available to win or how much the tickets cost, but the chance to ride in either car under those conditions should be enough to entice more than a few ticket sales.
