Lexus and driver Ken Gushi are preparing to take on the Pikes Peak Hill Climb this year in a IS F CCS-R packing 416-hp and 371 lb-ft of torque.

For those interested in finding out more about the upcoming Pikes Peak event and the Lexus IS F entry, Ken Gushi will be hosting a Twitter Q&A session today, June 19th, starting at 2:00pm EST. Those just wanting to find out news regarding the interview will be able to conveniently search hashtag #LexusPeak during the Q&A session.

The IS F CCS-R has been put on a diet, shedding almost 700 lbs compared to its production variant. The listed weight for the CCS-R is 3,087 lbs and when paired with its powertrain it should be pretty impressive on famous the hill climb. We recently caught a glimpse of it in action during some shakedown runs, and there’s no doubt its V8 sounds brilliant.
