For the last decade, the Japanese automaker has fallen behind competitors with its in-car electronics, especially given how quickly technology has evolved over the past five years. Ford‘s SYNC, for example, bugs and all, is still leaps and bounds more advanced than anything seen in a current Honda model.
That should all change with its new HondaLink, which will also be made available on the new 2013 Honda Accord come this fall. Earlier this year, Honda confirmed at CES that it had struck a partnership with Aha Radio to provide streaming audio to its 2013 models, starting with the Accord. We’ll learn more details about Honda’s new infotainment system until the middle of July, but we’ll have a sneak preview when our Honda Fit EV review is published.
