For the 2013 model year Camaro, Chevrolet has announced an optional package available to 2LT and 2SS Camaro coupe and convertible models dubbed ‘Dusk Special Edition’ that will be priced at $5,995.
The Dusk Special Edition package builds off of the RS Appearance Package (all contents included) which gives your Camaro a Blue Ray Metallic exterior shade and a blue convertible top color if you’re opting to add the package to a convertible model. The factory wheels are swapped out for 21-inch rollers finished off in silver, mated with 245/40ZR21 (front) and 275/35ZR21 (rear) rubber. In addition, the body gets a front splitter and rocker.
As for the inside, a unique Mojave leather-appointed interior adorns the cabin while yellow contrast stitching can be seen throughout. Blue Ray Metallic contrasts the door inserts while the ambient lighting has been converted to ‘Ice Blue.’ Lastly, Chevy will toss in a set of premium floor mats for your Dusk’ed out Camaro.
Performance upgrades are light, with a Hurst shifter being installed if you’re a manual-equipped V8 Camaro owner. Production for the Dusk Special Edition package will begin in August and run until December 2012. That being said, production will be limited by time and not quantity, but the American automaker hasn’t specified the end date yet.
