The now made in the USA 2013 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is hitting dealerships and will start at $19,170 excluding a destination charge of $825. The new MSRP is $375 more than the outgoing model.
The 2013 Outlander Sport is now produced in the Japanese automaker’s Normal, Illinois plant, shifting its production to America. For the 2013 model year, Mitsubishi updated its Outlander Sport with a new front bumper, grille, black side skirts, and 18-inch wheels. The interior also gets a nice update with new color choices, chrome accents, and a redesigned All Wheel Control button.
Performance has remain unchanged with the same 2.0-liter, four-cylinder with 148-hp under the hood. The powerplant is mated to a continuously variable transmission. The only tweak the automaker made is to the rear multi-link suspension.
