Infiniti announced today that the M35h GT, a cheaper version of its high-end hybrid sedan, will be available in U.K. showrooms this month.
The company didn’t mention if or when the car will make its way to U.S. dealers, but given how popular hybrids are among American buyers it would seem like a wise decision on the company’s part. As for customers in the U.K., pricing will be reduced £3,970 from the M35h Premium’s £45,990 price tag, but will maintain the brand’s “no compromise” approach to hybrids.
Already established as the world’s fastest hybrid with 359 hp and a 0-60 mpg sprint of only 5.5 seconds, the car also manages 39 mpg. Given Infiniti’s claim that the less-expensive version won’t be a compromise, we’re hoping the GT version reaches the States.
