At this years Pebble Beach Councours d’Elegance, the 2013 Shelby GT350 (shown above) will be revealed to the public, alongside the GT500 Super Snake, and another mystery vehicle which will pay tribute to the late Carroll Shelby.
The GT350 specs have already been released by Ford, but the Monterey unveil will mark the first time the car is seen by the public. As a post-title package, customers must first purchase a Ford Mustang GT. Available in either coupe or convertible variants, the Shelby GT350 will be priced at $26,995 for the naturally aspirated package which makes 430-hp, while the 525 hp supercharged post-title package will run you $33,995. A limited run of 350 of these cars will be produced.
The Super Snake is Shelby’s upgraded package for the already insane GT500, and will boost the car’s hp rating up to 750. No other information has been released, but expect bigger brakes, upgraded suspension and an all new appearance package.
Edsel Ford and Henry Ford III will be on hand at Monterey for the unveiling of a “special Carroll Shelby tribute vehicle.” Again, there is no information on this car, but it will likely be a special Mustang package.
