At this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, Porsche will show off its current four model lines alongside historic classics that inspired them.

The German automaker will travel to Pebble Beach with its Cayenne, Panamera, Boxster and 911 models along with vintage models that have rarely, if ever, been seen side by side. Classic Porsches making the trip include Jerry Seinfeld’s blue 550 Spyder, a 356 Super Coupe, the first all-wheel drive 911, and the 1984 Paris-Dakar Rally winner will join the latest Cayenne GTS.

For the first time ever, the Porsche Museum has released one of only two four-door 928 concept cars from 1991 for public viewing. Obviously that draws the connection to Porsche’s new Panamera model.

Of course, spectators will be able to check out Porsche’s models at the show that runs from August 15 through 19, while Porsche race car owners who are participating in the weekend’s racing events can stop by its Paddock Pub at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. The automaker will also have a 917K, one-of-a-kind Boxster, and 911 on display in the garage-hospitality area.
