Love your Honda CR-Z but wish it had more performance? Jackson Racing has been designing and developing superchargers for over a decade now, and has just released its latest creation for the hybrid CR-Z.

Priced at $3,995, the Jackson Racing supercharger adds 50-hp and 45 lb-ft of torque to the Honda CR-Z, while “maintaining the excellent fuel economy expected from the CR-Z hybrid” according to Jackson Racing. Before putting the product onto the market, the company put its own CR-Z on and off the track, including the 2011 Super Lap Battle. On its first attempt, the Jackson Racing CR-Z broke the previous hybrid record by almost six seconds.

The supercharger kit is based on a Rotrex C30-74 supercharger, and comes complete with Jackson Racing CNC-machined components, intercooler, belt drive, and all hardware necessary to install. Standard boost is set at 8 psi.

The $3,995 kit is the most basic kit and doesn’t come with any form of engine management, while there is a $4,495 option which comes with a Hondata ECU reflash and high-flow fuel injectors. Those with $4,995 to spend can opt for the Tuner System which comes with a Hondata FlashPro, Jackson Racing CR-Z FlashPro Calibration, and high-flow fuel injectors.
