Ken Gushi took the car up the Colorado mountain in 11 minutes and 35.17 seconds. The second place in class finish in exhibition class is behind a highly modified V12 car.
At course elevation, naturally-aspirated cars experience diminished power due to thin air. This means hat Lexus had to make the most of the 5.0-liter V8 and 8 speed automatic by using a carbon-fiber body. The light body takes 700lbs off the waistline of the IS-F and the engine is tuned to 416 hp.
