In what can only be described as one of the most anti-climactic videos of the year, Nissan’s project meant to drum up enthusiasm for its slow-selling 370Z is ending with a whimper.
It’s a shame because the car itself is very cool, but for some reason the brand didn’t see fit to include any shots of its ultimate track car doing anything crazy. What’s worse, the video teases its viewers with a disclaimer about being filmed on a closed course with a professional driver.
Hopefully that means footage of the car’s rear tires losing grip is still around the corner. Considering stage one included adding a turbo kit, better brakes and an upgraded suspension and stage two brought interior and exterior changes, it would have stood to reason that stage three would show it all in action.
Performance specifications aren’t even mentioned. After all that, it’s hard not to feel a little cheated.
