Crowdsourcing ideas from your fans seems to be the ‘in’ thing to do right now: first Stillen offered its fans an opportunity to design its Scion FR-S body kit, and now Motegi Racing is asking its fans to make its Ford Fiesta look amazing.
Entrants will have a shot at winning the grand prize trip for two to Las Vegas for the Global Rallycross event at the end of September. Motegi Racing is asking its fans to create a paint scheme for its own Ford Fiesta that is being inspired by rallycross and built for the street. Of course the winning design will make its way onto the Fiesta, where it’ll debut on September 29th at the same event the winner will be attending in Las Vegas.
The car itself is being built by the factory-backed Olsbergs MSE Ford rallycross team, who is a Motegi Racing technical partner. Both Brian Deegan and Tanner Foust are sponsored by Motegi Racing.
The contest has already kicked off, so head on over to Motegi Racing’s Facebook page if you’re interested in submitting something awesome. Submissions will close off on September 7th, and Motegi Racing’s fans will be asked to ‘Like’ their favorite designs to help narrow down the list. From there, a panel of judges will select the winning design by September 12th.
