Audi will expand its US lineup significantly in 2013 with the addition of a new, smaller crossover and a new small sedan.
With a facelift of the Q3 mini-SUV planned overseas for the 2014 model year, that same version will also arrive in North America in either late 2013 or early 2014. Not surprisingly, expect a 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder under the hood, while a diesel powertrain is also a likely possibility.

Around the same time frame a new A3 model will be launched in the US, although this time Audi hopes to make it relevant to mainstream compact premium buyers. Past reports have indicated the hatchback model will be axed entirely, while the A3, for the first time ever, will gain a sedan variant. As with most small Audi/VW products, look once again for the 2.0T engine, while a plug-in hybrid A3 is expected for 2014.
