Hennessey SRT Viper Packs 1,120 Twin-Turbo HP

It’s hard to find something to complain about on the all-new 2013 SRT Viper, but if the performance seems lacking for you, take a look at what Hennessey already has in the works.

Those wavering between whether or not to spend the extra money on the GTS model might want to consider the base model and putting it towards one of Hennessey’s upcoming packages. The famous tuner released renders for two different stages of upgrade, both of which enhance the factory’s 8.4-liter V10’s 640 hp and 600 lb-ft of torque figures.

Unfortunately pricing wasn’t released for either of the packages, but the 700R will grant you 725 hp and 695 lb-ft of torque, good enough to take the Viper to 60-mph in just 3.1 seconds. The upgrade is pretty extensive, equipping the short block with high-flow cylinder heads and a huge collection of bolt-ons including long-tube headers, high-flow catalytic converters, a 3-inch exhaust system, and a K&N air filter. As with most Hennessey products, a three-year, 36,000-mile limited warranty is included.

But if 725 hp isn’t good enough for you, Hennessey Performance will take your 2013 SRT Viper to a whole new level with its 1000 Twin Turbo engine upgrade package. The package is good for 1,120 hp and 1,092 lb-ft of torque and gets you a completely rebuilt long block with a pair of Precision ball-bearing turbochargers. The twin-turbo upgrade only comes with a one-year, 12,000-mile limited warranty.

Both packages also offer a plethora of aesthetic and aerodynamic accessories including a front carbon fiber splitter, rear lip spoiler, racing wing, front canards, and the company’s lightweight monoblock wheels.
