Now that SRT has announced pricing on its all-new 2013 Viper, we can enjoy more of an inside look at the next great American sports car.

Recently, the 2013 SRT Viper was taken out to Gingerman Speedway in South Haven, Michigan where SRT President and CEO of the SRT Brand, Chrysler Corp. Ralph Gilles got behind the wheel and discussed the 640-hp, 600 lb-ft of torque sports car. Powered by an 8.4-liter, V10 engine, the new SRT Viper isn’t just all about power, but its more powerful brakes, electronic technology, and more.

The end result is a Viper that is more capable on and off the track, more agile, and has faster acceleration to its higher top speed. Listen to Gilles share his thoughts about the new SRT Viper below.

He talks about a steering wheel and aressive tires ?   And that it’s all coming together.   What a sad spokesman Mr. head in charge of SRT programs.  And driving it a 9 /10th yet his speed is well under 100 mph

Perhaps the video doesn’t show it, but Ralph Gilles certainly knows how to turn a wheel.
