The newest addition to the Dodge lineup has made a big impression at the 2012 SEMA Show, with Mopar going all-out in accessorizing the new compact sedan.
Hoping to give enthusiasts an idea of what can be done with the Dodge Dart, Mopar rolled out three customized variants with different themes on each car.
Starting off with the Dart Leadfoot Blue, the Dart was finished in an eye-catching Cobalt Blue shade over a Light Blue Base. 19-inch wheels from Mopar complement a rear decklid spoiler, front chin spoiler, rear diffuser, and a Mopar grille badge. To give the Dart a ‘hot rod’ feel, Mopar painted its hood, roof, and mirror caps matte black.
Next up is the Dodge Dart Carbon Fire which features some prototype carbon fiber goods from Mopar along with lightly smoked headlights and 19-inch Gloss Black wheels. Other parts of the exterior has been contrasted with satin black accents while performance suspension gives it better handling and a lowered stance. The interior was also a focus on the Carbon Fiber, with Mopar pulling out a catalog of parts with Katzkin leather taking point.
Last, but not least, is the Dart Slingshot which is the American automaker’s vision for a Dodge Dart in SCCA showroom stock racing. Performance suspension, is a given, while the interior has been gutted and filled with a competition cage, racing seats, and six-point harnesses. Prototype, lightweight 17-inch wheels were bolted on, while a rear diffuser, front chin spoiler, side sills, and a decklid spoiler add to the aerodynamics.
