We captured the Jaguar F-Type at its official unveiling in Paris last week, boasting a 3.0-liter V6 with 380-hp in base form while the 5.0-liter V8 packs a real punch with 550-hp and 500 lb-ft of torque. It’s without a doubt that the British automaker has a coupe variant in the works and Los Angeles would be the perfect location for the automaker to debut it.
According to Jaguar vice-president David Pryor, over 20,000 customers have already come forward expressing interest in the new F-Type convertible, even though it’s not due until next year. A coupe debut before the end of the year would help Jaguar build up plenty of buzz heading into 2013.
