Jeep Wrangler Sand Trooper Heading to 2012 SEMA Show

Late last month, Mopar teased its 2012 SEMA projects, and one-by-one they’ve been revealed to us ahead of the show. The Jeep Wrangler Sand Trooper will showcase the company’s new collection of high-end, hardcore Jeep performance products.

Finished in a ‘Dune-in-Matte’ color, the Sand Trooper is powered by the new 5.7-liter HEMI V8 conversion kit. Pumping out 375 hp and 410 lb-ft of torque, this Wrangler will have little issue navigating the mud. Mopar also outfitted it with front and rear portal axles, giving the Wrangler 5 inches of lift to boost ground clearance.

On all four corners are massive 42-inch Super Swamper Bogger tires that will undoubtedly give the Sand Trooper a noticeable presence on the SEMA Show floor. Contrasting the exterior tan color, the wheels have been finished in matte black, which also flows with the numerous black accents throughout the exterior.

The interior will be easy to check out as the Sand Trooper will be featured without a top at the show. Premium black Katzkin Leather seats feature unique tan stitching, matching the two-tone theme on the exterior. The rest of the interior features plenty of Mopar accessories that any customer could order.
