Mazda MX-5 Super25 Carries on an Endurance Racing Legacy: 2012 SEMA Show

A followup to the MX-5 Super20, Mazda has revealed the Super25 at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas today with a focus on endurance racing.

Sharing booth space with one of the brand’s most iconic endurance racers (a sister car to the vehicle that won the 59th running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans), the Super25 also shares the Le Man’s winners #55.

Outfitted in the official colors of Mazdaspeed Motorsports Development it’s hard to miss the additional PIAA lights mounted on the front of the hood – ideal for night driving. Other highlights include 17-inch Volk Racing T37 six-spoke matte black wheels coated in BFGoodrich g-Force R1 225-45ZR17 tires, as well as a single Sparco Evo racing seat that adorns the otherwise stripped cabin. Little else can be found inside the cabin other than a roll cage, Sparco harnesses, a Sparco competition steering wheel, the pedals and a shift knob.
