Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition Adds Unique Twist to Base V6

Adding a new level of luxury to the base Panamera, Porsche has announced a new special edition model: the Platinum Edition.

Available in both rear-drive and all-wheel drive Panamera 4 layouts, the car will be available in five paint colors (black, white. basalt black metallic, carbon grey metallic and mahogany metallic lacquer) and come with numerous exterior details in a special platinum silver metallic finish. Included are the lower half of the side view mirrors, the trim on the trunk lid and the rear diffuser, as well as front grilles borrowed from the Panamara Turbo.

Added to the package is a long list of additional features including 19-inch Panamera Turbo wheels, Bi-Xenon Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS) headlights and parking assist features.

Inside the Platinum Edition comes with a black and luxor beige two-tone partial leather interior with full leather available, plus a sport steering wheel, Porsche crests on the headrests, heated front and rear seats as well as “Platinum Edition” door sills. In addition, a navigation system and Bose audio come equipped with 585 watts of power.

The Porsche Panamera Platinum Edition will go on sale January 5th, priced at $80,500 for the Panamera (including a $975 destination charge) and $84,600 for the Panamera 4.
