Teaser photos and a rough release date for Mercedes‘ new hot hatch, the A45 AMG, are bringing the car ticklishly close to reality.
Mercedes says the car will be released next spring, although that won’t apply to the U.S. market. Still, brand CEO Dieter Zetsche confirmed during the Geneva Auto Show this year that the A45 AMG will not be sold in North America. It’s a shame considering the car will likely make around 330 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque, which would top the current American performance hatch market.
While it remains unconfirmed, all signs point to the A45 AMG being officially unveiled during next year’s Geneva Motor Show before going on sale.
