The 2014 Nissan GT-R is getting some updates for improved performance, and now brand chief Kazutoshi Mizuno has said that the car will also be getting a new “amber red” trim level targeting “women, and slightly older buyers.”
The new trim level is meant to be more fashionable, to attract a different buyer than the car currently does. Not that sales are slacking, as Mizuno says that the 2013 model year car already has pre-orders, enough so that he has asked for the Tochigi plant where the GT-R is built to increase production capacity.
Along with improved performance and interior quality, the next GT-R is also slated to get a set of safety improvements.
