BMW Invites you to “Stroke” its Museum Cars

BMW has announced the fifth edition of its “night of the white gloves” event, which takes place at the brand’s museum in Munich and allows patrons to touch all of the vehicles being exhibited, provided they don a set of gloves.

The event will take place on Nov. 23, 2012, and offer some rare BMW’s for stroking, such at the BMW 328. The event will also celebrate the 25th anniversary of the BMW Z1, which was first unveiled at the 1988 Frankfurt Motor Show.

Munich based glove-maker Roeckl will be on hand to demonstrate what goes into making high-quality gloves, while light company Osram will show if an art installation called “dandelion.”

“It offers our visitors a rare opportunity to get a feel – quite literally – for BMW’s brand history, which now goes back more than 95 years,” says Dr Ralf Rodepeter, director of the BMW Museum.
