The Honda dirt bike featured in the opening chase scene Skyfall, the latest Bond flick,  is heading to eBay as part of the BBC Children in Need annual fundraising auction.

The modified Honda CRF250R is already live as one of the top items in the auction and is one of two Honda motorbikes featured in the film. The one up for auction is the ‘street merchant’ bike ridden by James Bond star Daniel Craig. The auction will closed to bidders on November 22.

The Japanese automaker is hoping the motorbike will raise tens of thousands of dollars for BBC Children in Need, a charity that benefits disadvantaged children and young people in the UK.

“We are very pleased to be able to support BBC Children in Need and with such an exclusive, unique and exciting item,” said Fiona Cole, Honda UK Corporate Communications Manager. “Original items such as this are usually highly sought after and with the Bond films having incredibly broad appeal, we hope that 007’s ‘street merchant’ bike will raise a significant amount of money and awareness for such an invaluable cause.”
