The Nissan e-NV200 has already been tested by FedEx, and now Nissan is lending one out to Coca-Cola so that the company can evaluate it as a delivery vehicle.

The all electric cargo van is being provided to Coca-Cola Central Japan Co., Ltd., where it will be used as a regional sales vehicle in Yokohama. The van will only be plugged in overnights, to evaluate whether or not one night of charging is sufficient for a days worth of typical usage.

The e-NV200 combines the all-electric powertrain found in the Nissan Leaf, with Nissan’s already successful NV200 utility vehicle to provide an emissions-free delivery van. Nissan will take the feedback given by Coca-Cola, and use it to tweak the e-NV200 before it goes on sale sometime in late 2013, early 2014.
