Those that were able to make it to the 2012 LA Auto Show and stopped by the Scion booth, probably saw the unique ‘Paper Shapers’ that the Japanese automaker had on display as freebies to show goers.

A collaboration with Shin Tanaka, who is well-known for his paper toys, all five Scion models were available as paper crafts that comes with color-matched sneakers and arms for balance. Throughout the auto show season, Scion will have them available for free at their booth, but for those that can’t make it to an auto show can grab themselves the new app available for the iPad.

On the app, users will be able to customize their own Scion Paper Shaper with personal colors, logos, wheels, and Scion Racing decals and then print it via WiFi to make their own model. Head on over to iTunes if you’re interested.
