Nissan debuted its 2014 Versa Note today during the 2013 Detroit Auto Show as a less expensive, more styling and better-equipped solution to the sub-compact hatchback question.
With 24.1 cubic feet of rear cargo space, the car is a segment leader in terms of storage. Nissan also estimates that the car will get 35 mpg on average or up to 40 mpg on the highway thanks to its X-tronic CVT and active front grille shutters.
Not only that, but the brand is putting its NissanConnect infotainment system on board to include navigation and AroundView parking assistance, which gives the driver a bird’s eye view of the car while trying to parallel park.
The Versa Note carries a starting MSRP of $13,990 – which is actually about $700 less than the current hatchback model and will go on sale this summer.
