The Alfa Romeo 4C is set to debut at the upcoming 2013 Geneva Motor Show and the Italian automaker has been busy putting the sports car through its final testing phases.

Powered by a 1.8-liter, turbocharged engine, the lightweight 4C will have around 300 hp with a weight of 1,980 pounds. The motor will be mated to a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission and should be able to hit 60 mph in just 4.5 seconds.

The 4C will mark the return of the Italian automaker in the U.S. market, which should be sometime before the end of 2013.
